BTU not only produces products for the biologization of agriculture, but also takes an active position in spreading an ecological worldview among farmers, lobbying for ecological approaches to land use in specialized committees of government bodies.
The conference is organized by BTU Biotech Company, a Ukrainian manufacturer of microbiological products for the agricultural sector.
For the fifth time we are organizing this conference, which brings together representatives of government, business, public organizations, scientists and professors from universities and colleges.
On February 24, a full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine began. The Ukrainian people have been selflessly fighting for our statehood, freedom, and the right to be citizens of an independent country all this time. Soldiers of the armed forces and territorial defense units, volunteers, police officers, rescuers, utility workers, farmers, doctors, educators, entrepreneurs - all of us, each in our place, defend Ukraine.
BTU does not stand aside. Some of our employees are fighting at the front, and the company's team works and participates in various humanitarian initiatives.
Since February 24, 2022, we have raised more than UAH 10,000,000 for volunteer initiatives and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The ecological approach for the company's employees is not only a job, but also their lifestyle. The company participates in charitable environmental and sports events, has abandoned the use of plastic in the office, etc.
Each employee is proud that thanks to the unique developments of the company's scientists, the practice of preserving soil biodiversity extends to millions of hectares of both Ukrainian and world lands.
BTU cooperates with charitable foundations from different parts of the country, helps civilian residents affected by war and occupation, temporarily displaced persons, and children.
BTU regularly holds educational events - conferences, field days, round tables, webinars, during which it talks about the importance and ways of biologizing agriculture.
In 2020, the company launched a free online course for agronomists "About microbes simply". As part of the course, senior microbiologist at the Institute of Applied Biotechnology Volodymyr Krut talks in an accessible form about the complexity and multifacetedness of processes that combine microbiology, ecology, soil and plants into a single system.
